New Food Blog - Andre Ethier from the Los Angeles Dodgers

Andre EthierI know this is a food blog, that’s why I’m happy to share with you all that a player from my favorite baseball team, the Los Angeles Dodgers has started his own foodie blog.  Andre Ethier has started Dining with ‘Dre a restaurant review site that primarily focuses on restaurants located in Los Angeles.  Hopefully he’ll come to my neck of the woods and try some places in Orange County from time to time.  Check out his site if you have some time.  I’m pretty impressed with how much he wrote for his first review, if I wrote that much I think I would scare away any possible fans of my site!

Thanks to Nancy over at Fast Food Maven, I found out that a East Coast favorite has started popping up on the West Coast.  I had the pleasure to go to Five Guys Burgers and Fries yesterday for a late lunch.  The burger was messy but was pretty good.  I’d probably put it below In-N-Out Burger but above most other places.  The cajun fries were absolutely fantastic.  I’ll be going back if I’m ever in the area, fortunately I hear that the franchisee for this area will be opening some in Orange County!  It’s worth the stop if you are hanging out in the South Bay area.
