This is the place to eat if you want true Americana. What is more American then a chicken pot pie? NOTHING! This place serves up quick tasty food at a cheap price. There is nothing they do amazing her, but everything they do is good, thus the 5 star rating. The wait staff is always nice and fast. It’s just an overall great place to go to and a great place to take a friend that’s new in town.

This place and its menu will transport you back to 1958 - And not in a self-consciously retro way. This is the real deal. The various chicken-related “art” on the walls, (made by one of their waitresses), is also a nice touch, as is the giant neon chicken sign outside. Dining at the La Palma Chicken Pie Shop is an experience not to be missed.
I got to go back so we can get some pictures. My review visit was before I started getting serious about doing reviews.
