Unofficial Review - Five Guys - L.A. County

June 2, 2008 · Filed Under OC Food News

Thanks to Nancy over at Fast Food Maven, I found out that a East Coast favorite has started popping up on the West Coast.  I had the pleasure to go to Five Guys Burgers and Fries yesterday for a late lunch.  The burger was messy but was pretty good.  I’d probably put it below In-N-Out Burger but above most other places.  The cajun fries were absolutely fantastic.  I’ll be going back if I’m ever in the area, fortunately I hear that the franchisee for this area will be opening some in Orange County!  It’s worth the stop if you are hanging out in the South Bay area.

    Burger patty looks dry seems like they pressed the crap out of the meat when cooking it :-(. But it sure does look fresh despite the meat condition.

    @nhbill:
    It actually wasn’t that dry at all, pretty juicy overall, just was sort of messy. Tasted good though.
